Meet the ITS Community
We are proud to have this opportunity to organise the 16th annual ITS World Congress and Exhibition in Stockholm, 21-25 September 2009. The ITS World Congress in 2009 is a unique occasion for us in Sweden to be able to demonstrate our expertise and high standard of achievement within the field of ITS. This annual event rotates between Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific region and comes to Sweden for the first time in 2009. The international ITS community will participate in this prestigious event in significant numbers and there will be many opportunities to take part as a delegate, speaker, exhibitor and visitor.
The ITS World Congress 2009 is being organised by ITS Congress Association and Brintex, on behalf of ERTICO – ITS Europe, in co-operation with the Swedish Road Administration, Vinnova (Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems), and ITS Sweden. The main partners for this Congress are Saab, Bombardier, Green Cargo, Logica, Scania, Volvo, Ericsson, Kapsch, NetPort.Karlshamn, Stockholm Public Transport, City of Stockholm, Star Alliance and ITS Sweden.
This Congress is part of a very successful series of ITS World and European Congresses. These events have attracted prominent persons from the ITS World in government, industry and other organisations and continue to do so in this rapidly growing field.
