Experience Park: experience ITS in daily life with all your senses
At the Experience Park, just outside the East entrance of the Congress Centre, you will have the opportunity to try out the most recent, state-of-the-art ITS applications and technologies of the future.
The Experience Park hosts (the Swedish Road Administration, the City of Stockholm, and their respected associated partners) invite you to tour the smallscale model roadway by taking a guided stroll or a ride in an electric car.
Delegates are also welcome to try the latest ITS solutions for vulnerable roadusers, such as children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Demonstration 2
Sustainable railway in daily life - an intermodal demonstration site
Welcome to a demonstration coordinated by Green Cargo. The railway track is five minutes by bus from the Congress facilities at the Stockholm International Fair.
The demonstration will guide you through ITS equipment installed on railway vehicles. Performed tests will be shown on site.
A number of intermodal solutions will be demonstrated:
- Easy, inexpensive and effective modal shift using a turntable wagon
- High speed network for post and parcel services
- Biomass transports
- Remote load monitoring for heavy vehicles and multiple trailers
- Common interface between trains and trucks
Some other applications that will also be demonstrated:
- European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS)
- Locomotives' energy control and alco-lock on rail vehicles

Demonstration 3
Traffic Control Management
This is a joint demonstration from the four transportation authorities in Sweden: LFV Group (civil aviation), Swedish Maritime Administration, Swedish Rail Administration and the Swedish Road Administration.
It will include a joint live demonstration of Traffic Control Centres for railway, aviation, maritime and road showing a number of different scenarios about weather, snow, traffic disturbances and crises.
It is organised on the joint exhibition stand (B20) of the four administrations, in the main Exhibition Hall.

Cooperative Systems Showcase - the future is cooperative!
Can cars communicate with each other and with traffic signals and infrastructure? Yes, they can!
Researchers from major European projects (SAFESPOT, CVIS and COOPERS) will allow you to experience how your car and road infrastructure around you will help you to avoid accidents, make your trips faster and more enjoyable. All this supported by cutting edge technologies such as vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-infrastructure communications, enhanced positioning and cooperative network management.

A Swedish network of authorities, industry and research and innovation organisations offer you a live experience of the ITS-enabled future at the Demo Theatre.

SECURE TRANSPORTS: You will follow an intermodal transport of dangerous goods which will highlight the interplay between public and private stakeholders when relations and time are important.
DAILY COMMUTER: Follow a daily commuter on a pleasant journey to work. Let us show you how ITSenabled commuter services for different modes of public transportation and cars will make your everyday life easier.
COOPERATIVE SYSTEMS: Imagine if all vehicles and infrastructure could cooperate V2V, V2I. Experience the benefits as you follow us into the future and find out what you as a stakeholder can do today, to make it happen.
SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS: What if goods can make decisions like humans? Follow how our talking goods manage challenges that appear along the way to its final destination.
EXTENDED E-TRANSACTIONS – THE BASE FOR ITS DEPLOYMENT: Join this scenario to understand an extended concept of electronic transactions beyond e-payments, including the collection, processing, distribution and presentation of digital information.
